The Lycra hood with zip is made with four way stretch 230gsm Lycra to give an excellent fit. The hoods will help to keep plaits flat and horse/pony cleaner - a real help when preparing for shows.

The hoods also have the benefit of a chin to chest zip to make the hood easier to put on and off and a fleece nose band for comfort. There is a strap between the front legs and elastic strap at the girth point to keep the hood securely in place.

Machine washable on low temperature and allow to dry naturally. Packed in a zipped bag with handles – ideal for storing when not in use.

Designed for horses/ponies (not Shetlands or Heavy Horses) we would recommend the following as a size guide:

Small - Rug sizes approx 5' 0" - 5' 6"

Medium - Rug sizes approx 5' 9" - 6' 0"

Large - Rug sizes approx 6' 3" - 6' 6"

X Large - Rug sizes 6' 9" - 7' 0"

XX Large - Rug sizes 7' 0" +
