The no fill lightweight combo turnout rug is ideal for warm but wet weather or for colder weather for hardier types.

The rugs are made from 1200D waterproof/breathable/windproof outer fabric (5000mm/5000g/m²/24hrs) and have the added benefit of Teflon™ coating which offers extra protection and more resistance to moisture and staining.

There is a generous tail flap with reflective strip and fillet string and there are detachable webbing leg straps – these are not sewn in so easy to remove if not required or to replace if damaged as no sewing is required.

There are double shoulder gussets which allow the horse easier movement and double adjustable surcingle straps with rubber washers to help unfastening.

The whole rug has a soft Nylon lining which helps to prevent rubbing and keep the coat smooth and there is no harsh seam on neck on the underside which can cause rubbing.

The combo neck has double Velcro neck straps with a flap to protect and a particularly good feature is the elasticated element at the poll which helps to keep the neck in place and prevent so much rain/wind going down the mane line.

At the chest there are double adjustable straps, D rings and robust trigger clips – the advantage here being that once the straps are adjusted to the correct size then putting on/taking off is easy at the chest as just two clips to fasten. Taped seams.

There are reflective strips at the chest, hind quarters and on the tail flap which help with visibility issues - particularly useful if having to lead on roads.

The rug is machine washable and comes packed in a zipped bag with handles – ideal for storing the rug when not in use.
