This 300g standard stable rug with detachable neck is a very versatile option as you can remove the neck and use as a standard rug. It is an excellent middleweight stable rug choice to use as a stand alone rug or in a layering system. It is designed for Shetland ponies, miniature horses, donkeys and small ponies such as Section A's.

The rug has shoulder gussets to allow freer movement for the pony which helps to prevent friction and rubbing. There is a tail flap with fillet string which helps to keep in warmth but also is useful for those horses and ponies who tend to rub.

There are double adjustable surcingle straps with rubber washers to help prevent unfastening. At the chest there are double adjustable straps with D rings and trigger clips and also a Velcro element for extra security.

The underside of the rug is lined with Nylon which helps to keep the coat smooth and prevent rubbing. The rug has a wither protector fitted for extra comfort.

The neck cover, when required, fits to the D rings fitted on the rug by three straps with clips and has double neck fastenings.

The rug is machine washable. We would recommend a non-biological product on a cool/warm wash and allow to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry. The rug and neck cover, which are sold as a set, are packed in a zipped bag with handles which is ideal for storing when not in use.
