The 400g heavyweight combo 1200D turnout rug is the ideal choice for colder months and clipped horses. Warm and cosy, these rugs are made from 1200D waterproof and breathable outer fabric and have been Teflon™ coated for extra protection, greater repelling properties, and helps resist staining.

There is a soft nylon lining which helps to keep the coat smooth and generous shoulder gusset allow the horse freer movement which helps to also prevent friction.

The rug has cross surcingles with rubber washers to help unfastening and there is a generous tail flap with reflective strips.

There are detachable webbing leg straps which are not sewn in so they can be easily removed if not required or replaced if damaged without the need for stitching.

At the chest there are double adjustable straps and D rings with trigger clips to make putting on and taking off quicker, ensuring plenty of adjustment. Once adjusted to the correct size, putting the rug on and off becomes much quicker with just two clips to fasten at the chest, as straps would already be correct. There is also touch Velcro for extra security.

The rug has a combo neck with double neck fastenings with a flap to protect. A particularly nice feature is the elasticated poll, which helps to keep the neck in place and reduces rain/wind from going down the mane line easily.

There are reflective strips at the chest, hind quarters and tail flap which is particularly useful when leading on roads. Taped seams feature.

The rug is machine washable and comes packed in a zipped bag with handles - ideal for storing when not in use.
