The Shetland-Miniature-Donkey-Section A 400g Heavyweight 1200D combo turnout rug is warm and cozy and offers fantastic protection for the colder months, especially for those that are clipped.
The outer fabric is 1200D waterproof and breathable and has the added feature of being Teflon coated, which gives extra protection and more resistance to moisture and staining.
The underside is soft nylon, helping to prevent rubbing and keep the coat smooth. The rug has shoulder gussets for ease of movement and cross surcingles with rubber washers to help prevent unfastening.
There are detachable webbing leg straps that can be easily removed if not required or replaced if damaged without the need for expensive sewing repairs. There is a generous tail flap with reflective strip.
At the chest, there are double adjustable chest straps with Velcro, D rings, and large robust trigger clips – a real help in the colder months, making the rug much quicker to put on and off. Once adjusted to the correct fit, it is simply a matter of fastening the clips to the D rings.
The combo (non-detachable) neck comes with double adjustable Kit Kat clip neck fastenings and an elasticated element at the poll, which helps keep the neck in place, stopping rain and wind from going down the mane line easily and retaining warmth. There is no rough seam on the neck underside, preventing rubbing.
