The heavy horse cotton sheet with tail flap is a versatile rug and particularly useful in warmer weather. The sheets are also useful during colder months as part of a layering system. The fabric is a polycotton mix, not as thick as the pre-shrunk 100% cotton sheet in the range.

The rug has shoulder gussets which help to prevent friction and rubbing and allow freer movement. There is a soft nylon lining at the chest which also helps to keep the coat smooth and reduces the risk of rubbing. Double adjustable chest straps with D rings and clips ensure a good fit for a wide range of builds.

A tail flap and fillet string is fitted to the rug, useful for helping to keep clean, especially for those horses prone to rubbing.

The rug is machine washable (cool/warm wash and allow to dry naturally) and is packed in a zipped bag.
