The heavy horse heavyweight 400g 1200D combo turnout rug is designed for heavier breeds such as Shire, Percheron, and Clydesdale. Its deeper and more generous fit at the shoulder and chest ensures comfort for these robust builds.

This warmest rug in the range is ideal for cold months and clipped horses. The 1200D waterproof and breathable outer fabric is Teflon coated, providing extra protection and reduced staining, while moisture beads off, making it easier to handle when wet.

It features a soft nylon lining to help prevent rubbing and maintain coat smoothness. Additional features include cross surcingles with rubber washers to help prevent unfastening, a very generous tail flap with a reflective strip, and taped seams. The generous shoulder pleats allow for ease of movement and help reduce friction.

Detachable webbing leg straps are included, offering easy removal and replacement. The chest area features double adjustable chest straps with D rings and robust trigger clips for quick application. Velcro at the chest provides added security.

The generous combo neck with double fastenings and an elasticated poll helps reduce wind and rain entering at the mane line, while reflective strips on the chest, hind quarters, and tail increase visibility for road leading.
